FAMILY: Meet the Fracassas
Hawke Fracassa has been a homeowner in Macomb County for three decades. He has lived in a brick ranch home with his family on Palomino Drive in Warren since 1983. Mr. Fracassa, 55, has a journalism degree from Wayne State and attended Macomb Community College and the University of Toledo.

Mr. Fracassa was married to Anne Fracassa on May 28, 1983, at St. Malachy Catholic church in Sterling Heights. They met as students at Wayne State University and fell in love instantly. They dated for one year and were engaged for a year before they married.
Anne died unexpectedly in March 2006, from medical malpractice, after knee surgery.
They have two daughters, Francesca and Becca Fracassa, and a son, Nicholas, who died.
Francesca, 23, graduated from Wayne State University in May with management and marketing bachelor’s degrees. Francesca is a longtime competitive skater for the St. Clair Shores Figure Skating Club and has been a Learn to Skate coach in St. Clair Shores for a few years. Francesca also is a market research intern for J.D. Power & Associates in Troy and a weekend server for Bahama Breeze, a Troy restaurant. She is a former office manager for the Macomb Observer newspaper. Francesca also has traveled as a People to People student ambassador to China, England, Italy, France, Germany, Austria and other parts of Europe.
Becca, 20, is a fitness fanatic who strives to eat right. She works out at her gym in Shelby Township for at least 5 hours on a typical day. Her idea of a good time is to push a car in neutral up a hill in a parking garage.
Becca is a barrista for the Nordstrom eBar at The Somerset Collection in Troy. She also has worked as a sales associate for Nordstrom and other stores. Becca also has traveled as a People to People student ambassador to Japan, France, Italy, Malta, Fiji, Australia and New Zealand.
Both girls are graduates of Chippewa Valley High School and attended Macomb Community College, The Roeper School, Warren Woods Christian School and Macomb Christian Schools.
The family had two dogs, an Affinpinscher named Stevie Y and a border terrier named Shanny. (R.I.P. to them both 10/2014)
